When you think of the “good life,” what comes to mind? Riches? Fame? Pleasure? Our world values people who are powerful, important, and prideful. But the values of Christ’s kingdom are opposed to the values of this world. In Luke 6, Jesus described a kingdom in which everything is upside down: the poor are rich, outcasts are insiders, enemies are friends, and sinners turn into saints. Will we trust Him and arrange our lives according to His kingdom values?
