After God sent the Messiah to provide redemption for humanity, Jesus ascended into heaven and charged his disciples with spreading the gospel message. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, the disciples began that mission and then passed it down to the next generation. As the church, we have inherited that same mission and we now work together to show the world the love and grace of God through sharing this same gospel.
